I was skeptical about the aluminum getting scratched up, but the silicone padding on the arms keeps my Dell completely secure without a single mark. It freed up enough room under my monitor that I finally have space for a coffee mug.

The silicone pads actually grip my MacBook Pro well enough that I can pull cables without the stand sliding around. The adjustable width means it fits my old 15-inch Dell too, so I can swap laptops without fiddling with anything. Freed up a lot of room next to my external monitor.

I've got two laptops sharing one small desk and this finally lets me stack them upright without scratching the aluminum. The silicone pads actually grip, and the width adjusts enough for my 17-inch work brick.
