The memory foam actually squishes down slowly instead of flattening out immediately, which is the whole reason I stopped getting that ache below my palm. The rubber base grips my desk so it doesn't slide around when I'm typing fast. Two months in and the 1-inch thickness hasn't sagged at all.

Three weeks of eight-hour workdays and my wrist pain is basically gone. The memory foam is thick enough that my wrist doesn't bottom out on the desk, and the rubber base actually stays put instead of sliding around.

The memory foam has a nice slow rebound, about 3-4 seconds, so it doesn't feel mushy under my wrists during long typing sessions. The anti-slip base actually stays put on my desk, though I wish it were a touch wider for my full-size keyboard.
